Our First European Flower Stand

Walking out of our first day in Haarlem we came across the flower stand. Many more would come, but what a sweet first impression.

Every color of the Rainbow

We enjoy the little bursts of happiness that flowers bring.

Tiny Flowers – Big Impact

Yes, it was that green

Some may take a green landscape for granted but for us it was luscious. Where we come from it’s only that green a couple of months a year.

Notice each and every color

Take in the landscapes, but be sure to take in all the vibrant colors, like this field of flowers in Switzerland.

French Shop Display

We came across this cute shop display in Beaune that had so many brightly colored linens. I could have spent a lot of money in that store.

Church Colors Inside and Out

Bold and Intense

Soaring Blue Ceiling

When I first walked into the Wieskirche my jaw dropped. It’s like looking up to heaven. The beauty was incredible. The ceilings were almost as blue as the skies over the Cinque Terra.

Gray is a Color

I know you think it’s a boring color, but just look how the artist made something so nice with one color! And without the gray cloudy sky there wouldn’t have been the rainbow.

Small Things

We learned a lot from little things.  Smiling about the hats that didn’t fit. Touching the tiny flowers in a Swiss meadow.  Seeing the kindness of new friends.

Food Faves

OK…we knew we would enjoy great food on our trip.  What we didn’t know was the range of new tastes we would experience.  Share our yummiest surprises.

Europe by the Colors

Tour Europe by the colors. Amazing colors are everywhere. Is there a more beautiful blue than the Mediterranean off the rocky coast of the Cinque Terra? Ah…there’s much more.

Puppy Pals

We missed our dog Jax, but we met lots of puppy pals everywhere we toured.  Is there a better way to meet people than admiring their pups? We don’t think so.
