A little about me
I believe my life is about worshipping the Lord Jesus, my Lord and Savior, in all I do.
I grew up in Fresno, CA where my family spent summers vacationing in the mountains and day-triping to the coast.
I have a B.A. in English from The Master’s College and also attended Azusa Pacific University.
I am now married to my wonderful husband, Jordan, and we have two boys together. I am a stay-at-home mommy and homemaker who can’t live without a creative outlet. I also love event planning and coordinating, florals, and designing/creating/sourcing event decor!
My Photography Philosophy
You should be able to get great pictures of your kids, families, husband/wife, and life events without having to ‘invest’ hundreds of dollars.
When I had my son, my passion for photography only grew.
I simply couldn’t afford to hire a photographer but still desperately wanted to capture beautiful images I could treasure for years to come.
Growing up, I would always take pictures of objects and landscapes, rarely people. It would drive my mom crazy! “Where are the people?!” she’d say. Of course this was when she would have to pay to develop a whole role of film!
I took my love for photography and a whole lot of self-teaching to start venturing into portraits. At first, it was so I could have the pictures I longed to have of my son but I quickly realized I wanted to make portraits more available to other families too. And it has been a blast! So, let’s take pictures!
I love shooting in natural outdoor light with architectural features or green space.
I love capturing close-up’s, big smiles, and far-off gazes.
The little candid moments, where your personality shines through, are my absolute favorite!
